(Jan. 5, 2022) — Hampton University (HU) will hold a vaccination clinic from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday, January 8, in the campus' Holland Hall gymnasium, located directly across the parking lot from the Hampton University Convocation Center, for citizens ages 5 and up. First, second and third doses of the Pfizer vaccine (ages 12 and up), first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine (ages 5 to 11), and only booster shots for the Moderna vaccine will be administered on-site.

CURES are a novel form of classroom-based courses that offer students hands-on experience conducting original research and offer faculty and students the opportunity to generate new information within their discipline.

(Nov. 1, 2021) — The PSEG Foundation, headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, has established the PSEG Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) scholarship fund at Hampton University. The scholarship fund is designated only for students from New Jersey who will be entering freshmen in August 2022. All candidates for the scholarship must be studying in STEM-related areas such as engineering, mathematics, and information technology.

(Oct. 20, 2021) – Hampton University students, Darchayla Lewis and Shamine Alves, have been named the first recipients of GN Hearing’s, the global leader in hearing aid innovation, new scholarship. (July 28, 2021) — The Hampton University Museum is will receive $75,000 from the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund to assist with the preservation of Charles White's historic 1943 mural “ The Contribution of the Negro to Democracy in America.” The grant will be utilized to install an HVAC system in Clarke Hall, home of the mural. The system will help maintain an environment for the mural’s future conservation.

Dosso will receive $250,000 to support her company Dosso Beauty and Hampton University is receiving an unrestricted $75,000 grant as the HBCU affiliated with the top-scoring venture.
