LTG(R) Ferrell to Receive the EagleForce Warrior Foundation 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award

HAMPTON, VA. (April 10, 2019) — Congratulations to LTG(R) Robert Ferrell, Class of 1983, who has been selected to receive the EagleForce Warrior Foundation 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award.

His selection reads in part:

As the first African American to serve as the Chief Information Officer for the Army and Signal Corps to serving as the assistant to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfield, your accomplishments throughout your military and now civilian career are astonishing.

As Commander of Fort Aberdeen Proving Grounds, placing military service members and their families wellness as a top priority, your successful transition to Corporate America Vice President of World Wide Technology and continued commitment to improving the lives of American’s make you the ideal benefactor of this years’ Lifetime Achievement award." 

The EagleForce Warrior Foundation 2019 “Warrior Gala” will be held at the Fairmont Hotel, Washington, DC on June 8, 2019 when he will receive his award.
