Hampton, Va. – The Hampton University Child Development Center has won the 2016 Best of Hampton Award in the Child Care category by the Hampton Award Program.
“I am very excited. My staff and I work hard. Being recognized throughout the Hampton area shows that hard work pays off, ” said Joy Phelps, Director of the HU Child Development Center.
Just last month, Phelps was recognized with the Charles A. Warren Helping Hands Award from the Hampton Mayor’s Committee for people with disabilities, for her outstanding work with development center.
Phelps said, “I am passionate about what I do."
Each year, the Hampton Award Program identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.
