Hampton, VA. – The Hampton University Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) hosted their 68th Annual Military Ball on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 18:00 (6:00 PM). The event was held at the Virginia Air and Space Center located in Hampton, Virginia.

As an outstanding leadership program, it has been instrumental in developing several notable alumni such as Lieutenant General Robert Ferrell, Major General Darrell Williams, and Major General (Retired) Wallace Arnold.

The 68th Annual Military Ball is a formal event that allows cadets to celebrate United States Army traditions. During the event cadets will crown the Army ROTC court, demonstrate movement drills by the battalion drill team, and highlight some of the accomplishments achieved during the year.

Notable alumni that were in attendance this year were Lt. Gen. Robert Ferrell, Chief Information Officer for the United States Army, Major Gen. Darrell K. Williams, Combined Arms Support Command, Brigadier Gen. Xavier T. Brunson, Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Special Forces Command (Airborne). Also in attendance was Brigadier Gen. Charles R. Hamilton, Defense Logistics Agency Support Troop Commander and keynote speaker Sergeant First Class (Retired) Dennis M. Bullard.
