Fan Zone Implementation For Homecoming

Hampton, Va. – The Hampton University Department of Athletics will be implementing a Fan Zone for the Pirates’ Homecoming game later on this season.
The Pirates will celebrate Homecoming on Oct. 15 against Morgan State.
As part of this implementation, parking lots 10 and 11 will serve as entry points for the Fan Zone. Fans entering through Emancipation Drive will be required to either present their Homecoming game ticket or pay the cost of admission.
Said price of admission will include the price of a game ticket, plus parking fees. With purchase, fans will receive one General Admission game ticket and one drink ticket for the beverage of the fan’s choice, to be consumed in the Adult Zone tent located inside Armstrong Stadium.
In addition, the Department of Athletics has partnered with the Office of Alumni Affairs to offer the 2016 Day Party All-Access Package. Available for $50 via the Office of Alumni Affairs website (oaa.hamptonu.edu/store), the package will include premium game day parking and Fan Zone admission, one General Admission game ticket, and one General Admission ticket to “The Biggest Day Party Ever.”
Fans are encouraged to purchase game tickets early by calling the Pirates Ticket Office at (757) 728-6828, Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. During the week of the Homecoming game, tickets will also be available at select area hotels and during the Office of Alumni Affairs’ Hospitality Event on Oct. 14.
